Lenovo has started teasing the launch of its next smartphone in the P series, dubbed as the ‘Lenovo P2’ which comes with a huge 5100mAh battery. The P series of Lenovo is known for beefy batteries, with P1 sporting a 5000mAh battery as well. The Lenovo P2 smartphone was unveiled at IFA 2016 in Berlin, Germany.
Lenovo has released a teaser on its official Twitter handle, stating the Lenovo P2 as a Powerhouse. The smartphone is already available in several regions globally including China.
The Lenovo P2 flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display and is powered by a 2GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, paired with Adreno 506 GPU. It might come in 3GB/ 4GB RAM variants with 32GB/ 64GB internal storage options respectively. The memory is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by a huge 5100mAh battery with fast charging support and features a fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and NFC.
The Lenovo P2 comes in Champagne Gold and Graphite Grey colour variants. In China, it is priced at 2499 yuan (approx. Rs. 25,000). However, there is no official word on Indian pricing and availability of the smartphone yet. Stay tuned for more updates!
