Lenovo has started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Lenovo A7000, that was launched in last April. The smartphone is now receiving update via OTA (over-the-air).
The Lenovo A7000 OS update carries a build number A7000-a_S153_151127_ROW_TO_A7000-a_S223_160405_ROW with a size of over 1359 MB. However, users are recommended to have at least 2 GB of free space on the device and download the update over WiFi network. The update also comes with the Android security patch for the month of March.
Although, Lenovo hasn’t released any official change log yet, we can expect it to carry obvious features like Google Now on Tap, Doze Mode and improved app permissions. If you haven’t received OTA update notification on your phone, you can also manually check for the update via Settings > About Phone > System Update.
Last month, Lenovo also released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for K3 Note.
