Lenovo A5000 With 4000 mAh battery Launched in India at Rs. 9,999

After Unveiling the smartphone in Russia last weekend, Lenovo has officially launched its latest A-series smartphone “Lenovo A5000” in India yesterday. Unlike its A-series siblings (A6000, A6000 Plus and A7000) that are available via flash sale on Flipkart, Lenovo A5000 can only be purchased on the company’s official e-commerce site. The smartphone is available for per-order on Lenovo’s TheDoStore for the price of Rs 9,999 and will be shipped on April 29.

This is an another budget smartphone from Lenovo that is all set to give a stiff competition to popular Yu Yureka, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Moto G (2nd Gen) etc. This budget segment is seeing a lot of traffic now with so many new smartphones coming at a regular basis.

The Lenovo A5000 sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) IPS display offering a pixel density of 300 PPI. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek quad-core processor which is paired with 1 GB of RAM. This Dual-Sim smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

It boasts an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera for your selfies. The internal storage is 8 GB which is further expandable up to 32 GB via Micro SD card. It will be available in two colors – Black and White.

Most notable feature of this smartphone is its 4000 mAh massive battery which is rated to deliver up to 17 hours of talk time and up to 792 hours of standby time on 3G networks. The Quick Charge feature allows the battery to get fully charged in 3 hours while a 15-minute charge offers up to 4 hours of talk time. So, now you need not worry about charging your smartphone much often.

The Lenovo A5000 is expected to hit the budget smartphone segment with its massive battery. This smartphone can be a good choice for people seeking good battery life with this budget.
