LeEco has launched a new variant of LeEco Le 1S, with hardly any differences but surely with a confusing name, dubbed as LeEco Le 1S (Eco). The smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,899, however for the first sale it will cost Rs. 9,999. The first flash sale will be held on May 12 at 2 PM on Flipkart, while the registrations for the same have already started.
The new variant of Le 1S brings the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, along with support for 10 Indian languages including Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali, Malayalam, Telugu, Gujarati, Punjabi and Oriya. The ‘Made for India’ and ‘Made in India’ smartphone also includes entertainment package from Eros Now, YuppTV and Hungama, which will be accessible on membership fee of Rs. 490 a month or Rs. 4900 a year.
On the hardware front, it sports the same design with same specs. Still to recall, the Le 1S Eco has 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, 2.2GHz Helio X10 Turbo octa-core processor, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, and a 3000 mAh battery. It also bears a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5 megapixel front snapper, fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port.
LeEco has said that over 100,000 units of LeEco Le 1S (Eco) will be up for grab in the first sale. The company has already sold over 400,000 units in India.
