Just a few days after launching Aqua Play, Intex has announced another entry-level smartphone, Intex Aqua Young. The smartphone got listed on company’s website, and is priced at Rs. 5,090. It is expected to hit the domestic market in the coming days.
The Aqua Young features a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) SoC, paired with 1 GB RAM. It comes with 8 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The Intex Aqua Young sports 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 0.3 megapixel front snapper. The smartphone is backed by 2500 mAh battery, that claims to give up to 10 hours of talk time, and up to 250 hours of standby time.
The dual SIM smartphone offers connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. The device measures 145.3x72x9.5mm, and weighs 158 grams.
The Intex Aqua Young will be offered in Champagne, Dark Grey, and White color variants.
