Intex has launched its latest budget smartphone, dubbed as ‘Aqua S2’ in India at a price tag of Rs. 4,990. It is the cheapest smartphone in India now with a fingerprint sensor.
The Intex Aqua S2 features a 5-inch FWVA display with 480 x 854 pixel resolution. It is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor coupled with 1 GB RAM. It comes with 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
On the camera front, it packs a 5-megapixel rear camera with f/2.8 aperture and LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The dual sim smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is backed by a 2450 mAh battery which is claimed to provide a stand by time of up to 110 hours and talktime of up to 5 hours.
The Aqua S2 supports GIF images as well and the fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel. Connectivity options include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v2.1+EDR, GPS/AGPS, FM Radio, USB and 3.5 mm jack. The dimensions of the device are 146.4 x 73.0 x 9.65 mm and it weighs 153.8 grams.
It comes in three colour options – Champagne, White and Grey.
