Along with the Honor V8, Huawei also launched a fitness tracker, called as Huawei Honor Band A1. The fitness band is priced at 99 yuan (approx. Rs. 1,000) with silicone bands and 199 yuan (approx. Rs. 2,000) for the leather bands.
The Honor Band A1 has an LED light and vibration ability for call/text notifications. It is embedded with UV sensor and is packed with a 70mAh battery that promises up to 28 days of standby. It is IP57 certified that makes it Dust and Water resistant and also has a standard micro USB port for charging. It is compatible with Android 4.2 or higher only and can be connected via Bluetooth 4.2. It can track exercise time, distance walked or run, steps were taken, sleep and calories burnt.
The Huawei Honor Band A1 is now available for order in China and goes on sale from May 25th. However, there are no details about its global roll out yet.
