Huawei has launched a new smartphone, called as Huawei Honor 5 in China. The successor to last year’s Honor 4 is priced at 599 yuan (approx. Rs. 6,000) and will be available from August 2nd.
The Huawei Honor 5 features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735P processor, paired with Mali T-720 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It offers 16 GB of internal memory, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The dual Sim smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 Lite.
The Honor 5 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash too. It is backed by a 2200mAh battery and offers connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
The Huawei Honor 5 will be available in Black, White and Gold color variants. It measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.9mm and weighs 138 grams.
