The wait is finally over as the the fairly anticipated flagship HTC U11 smartphone has now arrived in India. HTC has just launched its flagship U11 smartphone in India, the way it was scheduled. The smartphone was quite into the talks ever since it was announced considering its revolutionary Edge sense technology along with few more impressive features that could turn the tables in favour of HTC. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 51,990 and will be available by the end of June.
Edge Sense Technology
The HTC U11 has touch sensitive sensors on its edges which interpret different squeezable gestures into various commands. The edges basically sense the squeeze on edges and then operate accordingly. Users can turn on the flash light, open an application and can also take pictures and selfies just by a squeeze on the edges.
Users can customise different commands over various squeeze patterns between short squeeze and squeeze and hold. There is also a provision to adjust the squeeze sensitivity according to user’s convenience. This new technology is quite innovative and could really prove to be an USP for the smartphone against flagships from other companies.
