HTC is gearing up with an another high-end smartphone in the Desire Series. The smartphone is named as “HTC Desire A55” as of now. HTC has declined the rumours about HTC One M9 which was a much anticipated smartphone for HTC fans. Instead, HTC is looking forward to extend its Desire series with its new launch.
According to the sources, this HTC A55 will be replacing the successor of One M8 that is One M9 which was expected to launch at MWC event which is to be held at 1st March. If these rumours are to be believed then it might be the case that HTC can launch both these Devices at MWC.
The rumoured specifications of the HTC Desire A55 include a 5.5-inch Quad-HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display and an octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6 795 chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz which will be coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It is also said to have 32 GB of built-in storage. There will be two variants of the phone, a single SIM variant for EMEA markets and dual SIM variant for Asian markets.
It will also feature a 20-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel or 4 UltraPixel front camera for Selfie Lovers. It would be integrated with Boom Sound speakers and a battery of capacity around 3000 mAh, HTC Sense 7.0 on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop. The three colour options to be expected are – White Rose Gold, Gray, and Brown Gold.
If these leaked specifications are to be believed, the Desire A55 does appear to be a pretty well-specked smartphone. It seems to be a perfect blend of specifications and performance. Rather, a great Pricing will surely work as an icing on the cake.
