HTC has launched the HTC Desire 830 in Taiwan at NT$ 9,990 (approx. Rs. 20,615). The smartphone will be available from May 6 and will be offered in White with Orange and White with Blue color variants.
The HTC Desire 830 flaunts 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753T processor, coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 3 GB RAM. It bears 32 GB internal memory, expandable up to 2TB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense 7 UI on top.
The Desire 830 sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, OIS, BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm lens, and 1080p video recording. It also boasts an UltraPixel front-facing camera, with f/2.0 aperture, and 26.8mm wide-angle lens. It is packed with a 2800mAh battery and also has dual front-facing stereo speakers, with Dolby audio.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / GLONASS. It is 7.79 mm thick and weighs 156 g. However, there is no word on its Indian availability yet.
