HTC has upgraded its Desire 828 which was launched late last year with more RAM and internal storage. The phone sports the same plastic body with 5.5 inches Full HD screen with very good display quality. It runs on a 1.5 GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6753 Processor now coupled with 3 GB of RAM and delivers good performance for normal usage and light gaming. It comes with a 13 MP rear camera with BSI sensor, OIS and LED flash and a 4 MP (Ultrapixel) front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 26.8mm lens, both the cameras can record 1080p videos. The picture quality of both the cameras is good. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based HTC’s Sense UI 6.0 which is beautiful. A good thing about the smartphone is, it comes with dual front facing HTC BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio which deliver loud and rich audio and enhance the multimedia experience on the phone. It is a dual sim smartphone with 4G support. For storage, it comes with 32 GB internal memory which is further expandable upto whopping 2 TB with the help of a microSD card. The phone is backed by a non-removable Li-Ion 2800 mAh battery, which delivers day long battery backup. Overall, the HTC Desire 828 with increased 3 GB RAM is not a bad phone but, it is far behind the competition, whether it is the performance or design so, it won’t be a great buy at this price but if you still like the phone, specially for its multimedia experience you can go with it. You can also go with the newly launched HTC Desire 825 which comes with its unique splashy design 2 GB RAM and Android Marshmallow but it has got only HD display at this price.
