HTC seems to be on the smartphone launching spree, as the company has listed a new smartphone, dubbed as HTC One M9+ (Prime Camera Edition) on their website. Yesterday, HTC launched its flagship phone HTC 10 along with five other new smartphones in India.
The HTC One M9+ (Prime Camera Edition) features a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by 2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) Octa-Core processor, paired with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 2GB RAM. It bears 16 GB internal storage, expandable up to 2 TB with microSD and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI overlaid.
The One M9+ (Prime Camera Edition) sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, OIS, Laser autofocus, 28mm lens, f/2.0 aperture, and 4K video recording. It also boasts an Ultrapixel front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, 2-micron pixels, 26.8 mm lens, 1080p video recording. The smartphone includes dual front-facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby audio, fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 2840mAh battery.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS, and NFC. It measures 150.9 x 71.9 x 9.6mm and weighs 168 g. The HTC One M9+ (Prime Camera Edition) is priced at Rs. 23,990 and will be offered in Gunmetal Grey and Silver color variants. The smartphone is expected to go on sale very soon.
