As expected, HTC has officially launched its flagship smartphone and its variant dubbed as HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle respectively in India. The full-metal unibody designed HTC 10 is priced at Rs. 52,990, while the price of HTC 10 Lifestyle hasn’t been revealed yet.
The HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle flaunt a 5.2-inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super LCD 5 display with pixel density at 564 ppi (pixels per inch) and 2.5D curved glass. The HTC 10 is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor, coupled with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB RAM. On the other hand, the HTC 10 Lifestyle is powered by a Snapdragon 652 SoC and 3 GB RAM. These smartphones will come with 32 GB internal storage, which is further expandable up to 2TB with microSD. They will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based HTC Sense 8.0 UI on top.
The HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle boasts a 12 megapixel (HTC Ultrapixel 2) camera with dual-tone LED flash, 1.55um pixels, f/1.8 aperture, Laser AF, OIS, and 4K video recording. Both the smartphones also sport a 5-megapixel autofocus front-facing camera with 1.34um pixels, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 23mm focal length, and 86-degree wide angle. These smartphones get their juice from a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support that can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes and also have a Fingerprint Sensor, HTC BoomSound, Dolby Audio, and three noise cancellation microphones.
Connectivity options on these smartphones include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS with GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. The HTC 10 comes in Carbon Grey and Topaz Gold color variants and measures 145.9 x 71.9 x 3.0 – 9.0mm while weighs 161 grams.
