HTC 10 Evo with 5.5-inch Quad HD display, 3GB RAM, 16MP camera expected to launch on 22nd November

The Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has sent out invites for a launch event on November 22, where it is expected to unveil the HTC 10 Evo smartphone, which is an International variant of the HTC Bolt, that is exclusive to the US-based carrier Sprint only.

As far as specifications are concerned, the HTC 10 Evo will sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super LCD 3 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will be powered by a 2GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, coupled with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM.

On the camera front, it will pack a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, PDAF, 4K video recording, 120fps slow-mo video and an 8MP front-facing camera. It comes with 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The smartphone will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with HTC Sense UI on top. It is backed by a 3200 mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor is embedded into the physical home button. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4,1, GPS with GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C. It is IP57 certified i.e dust and water-resistant up to 1 meter and 30 minutes. USB-C audio, BoomSound Adaptive Audio, Hi-Res audio are some other features. It measures at 153.6 x 77.3 x 8.1 mm and weighs at 174g.

The HTC Evo 10 is also expected to come in Gunmetal and Glacier Silver colors, similar to the HTC Bolt. However, all the details and pricing of the smartphone will be known at the launch event only. Stay tuned for more updates!
