HP has launched a new line of EliteBook notebook along with the Elite X2 1012 convertible laptop in India. The HP EliteBook Folio, EliteBook Folio 1040 G3, and EliteBook 840 are priced at Rs. 1,28,000, Rs. 90,000, and Rs. 69,000 respectively, whereas the Elite x2 1012 2-in-1 laptop-tablet hybrid starts at Rs. 95,000.
The Elite X2 1012 is a convertible tablet that has a 12-inch (1920×1280 pixels) anti-glare touch display with 3:2 aspect ratio. It is powered by Intel Core M processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. It is crafted from milled CNC aluminium and is just 8.1 mm thin. The tablet weighs less than 840 grams and has a built-in kickstand with 150 degrees of adjustability, allowing a user to set the device upright for viewing and keyboard typing or laying it back for on-screen typing. It has built-in 3G connectivity, fingerprint reader, smartcard reader and NFC.
The EliteBook is company’s “thinnest and lightest” notebook with a thickness of 12.4mm and weight less than a Kg. It has 12.5-inch Full-HD UWVA ultra slim LED-backlit touch-screen and is powered by 1.1 GHz Intel Core M5-6Y54 with turbo boost up to 2.7 GHz and Intel HD Graphics 515, 8GB LPDDR3 RAM, and 256GB SATA SSD. Both notebooks come with Windows 10 Pro 64 pre-installed.
