Honor 8 Pro to launch in India next month, most likely to be priced between Rs. 32,000 to Rs. 36,000

The much awaited smartphone Honor 8 Pro from giant Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is said to hit Indian shelves around mid-July. Although we already know the specifications of the smartphone, there was still a curiosity regarding its price when it arrives India. A latest report surfaced up recently might just have solved the curiosity about the pricing details of the smartphone.

According to recent report which cites industry sources, the Honor 8 Pro will cost around Rs. 32,000 to 36,000 in India. Earlier it was reported that the smartphone was expected to be priced around Rs. 37,000 which was nearby its price in Europe. The new tip about the price certainly indicates that the Honor 8 Pro will arrive in India with a slightly lighter price tag. The smartphone, as mentioned earlier is expected to launch in India in mid July i.e next month and it is also said that the device will be Amazon exclusive for sale.

Taking about the specifications, the Honor 8 Pro sports a 5.7-inch display with Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution with a 515 ppi pixel density. It has got a Kirin 960 octa-core processor clocked at 2.4 GHz under the hood. The smartphone comes with 4 GB/ 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat based EMUI 5.0 out of the box.

Camera specifications on the Honor 8 Pro include a Dual camera set-up at rear with both 12 MP sensors which support 4k recording. For selfie freaks, it includes an 8 MP front camera. The Honor 8 Pro has a fingerprint sensor at the back with quick response time. The device holds a massive 4,000 mAh battery which is claimed to give up to two days of usage and comes with smart power mode.

The connectivity options include dual-sim support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, 3.5mm audio port, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone measures 157 x 77.50 x 6.97 mm and weighs 184 grams.
