Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched its mid-segment smartphone Honor 6X in India in January. The smartphone was launched in two different variants that came with price tags of Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 15,999 respectively. The smartphone is being sold exclusively on Amazon India and now the e-commerce website shows an effective price cut on both the variants of the smartphone. The 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variant is now priced down to Rs. 11,999 where as the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage variant is available at Rs. 13,999.
Apart from the price cuts, Amazon is also providing a bundle of offers with the purchase of the Honor 6X smartphone. All those who purchase the smartphone will get an original transparent case of Honor 6X at a special price of Rs. 299. Amazon is also giving Rs. 300 e-book promotion credits on the Kindle app. Also, Vodafone users with the purchase of the smartphone will get 45 GB of free internet data for 5 months at the price of only 1 GB data.
To recall the specifications, the Honor 6X sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass IPS display. It is powered by a 2.1 GHz Octa-core Kirin 655 processor, coupled with Mali T830-MP2. It comes in two variants as mentioned earlier one with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage and another with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage, where the internal memory is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top, with guaranteed update for Android Nougat.
Honor 6X houses dual rear cameras, comprising a 12-megapixel camera with LED Flash, 6P lens, 1.25um pixel size, PDAF and a 2-megapixel camera for achieving depth of field and background blur. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera. It is packed with a 3,340 mAh battery with fast-charging support. The smartphone comes with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and the connectivity options include, Dual-sim support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB OTG. It measures 150.9×72.6×8.2 mm and weighs 162 grams.
