Mark the dates, Android Fans! Google has finally announced its next big event. Google has started sending out media invites for an event in San Francisco, CA on September 29 which is expected to bring the new Nexus devices and the public release for Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Google’s invite teases that it will have “some tasty new treats and much more” to show. Though the invite does not mention launch of any device, the rumors strongly suggest that it will lift the veil from upcoming Nexus smartphones which are said to be manufactured by two different companies LG and Huawei.
According to recent rumors, the LG Nexus will be known as the Nexus 5X, while the Huawei Nexus will be called as the Nexus 6P (find all the leaked images and specs of the 2015 Nexus devices here). Both the Nexus will sport Fingerprint Sensor and Type-C USB port and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The official launch of the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Chromecast 2 is also expected.
The event will start at 9 AM PT (9.30 PM IST) on September 29 and Google will live stream the entire event on www.youtube.com/google.
