Gionee S6s with 5.5-inch FHD display, 3GB RAM and 8MP front camera launched at Rs. 17,999

As promised, Gionee has launched its selfie focused smartphone, dubbed as Gionee S6s. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 17,999 and will be exclusively available via Amazon.in and also through offline retail stores.

The Gionee S6s flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it has an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with Mali T720 GPU. It bears 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 128GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.2 on top.The USP of this smartphone is its 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and 5P lens. It also boasts a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. It comes with a fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 3150mAh battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.

The Gionee S6s measures 154.5 x 75.6 x 8.27mm and will be offered in Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver color variants.
