The Chinese manufacturer, Gionee has launched a new smartphone in its country, dubbed as Gionee S6 Pro. The smartphone is now available and is priced at 1999 yuan (approx. Rs. 20,300).
The Gionee S6 Pro flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920× 1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, clocked at 1.8GHz, paired with Mali T860MP2 GPU. It bears 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 64GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 128GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.2 on top.
The S6 Pro sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. It also houses an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 3130mAh battery. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and USB Type-C.
The Gionee S6 Pro measures 153 × 75.26 × 7.6mm and weighs 170 g. It will be offered in Rose Gold, Silver and Gold color variants.
