Gionee has launched its S10 smartphone in China, today. The smartphone has been launched in three different variants i.e- Gionee S10, Gionee S10B and Gionee S10C. The smartphone comes as a selfie centric device bearing dual camera setups on both, rear as well as on front. While the S10B variant will go on sale from today itself, the other two variants that is, the Gionee S10 and S10C will be available from 9th June in China.
Gionee S10:
Coming towards the specifications, the Gionee S10 sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) In-Cell display and has got a MediaTek Helio P25 processor under the hood. The smartphone comes with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The device runs on Amigo 4.0 OS and the company has not confirmed the Android version of the smartphone yet.
As mentioned earlier the smartphone highlights its above average imaging capabilities. Gionee S10 boasts a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 16-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor each with 6p lens and f/1.8 aperture. At the front also there is a dual camera setup with a massive 20-megapixel sensor along with an 8-megapixel sensor. The smartphone packs a 3,450 mAh battery to power itself which is slightly bigger than Gionee S9. The Gionee S10 comes at a price of CNY 2,599 which roughly translates to Rs. 24,400.
Gionee S10B:
Going further, the Gionee S10B comes with the same display but differs in terms of other specifications. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor and is coupled with 4 GB of RAM along with 64 GB internal storage. The device runs on Amigo 4.0 and again the availability of its Android version is not confirmed. Talking about the imaging department, the Gionee S10B also sports a dual rear camera setup but with a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensor each. On the front there is a single 16-megapixel camera for selfies. The device houses a bigger 3,700 mAh battery than that of the S10. Gionee S10B is available at a price of CNY 2,199 (Rs. 20,700 approx).
Gionee S10C:
Finally the Gionee S10C which was also rumoured earlier along side the Gionee S10, appears to be a slightly trimmed down version. The smartphone sports a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 427 processor. The device comes with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage and runs on 4.0 OS but again without a word of its Android version. For imaging the smartphone holds a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front camera. Gionee S10C packs a 3,100 mAh battery which is the smallest amongst the three. The smartphone comes at a price of CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 15,000).
For time being the smartphone will only be available in China and its arrival in India or other markets is unknown. Also, the detail about its Android version and expandable storage are still unclear.
