Gionee has launched another budget smartphone, dubbed as Gionee Pioneer P5W in India. The smartphone will be available from company’s site at Rs. 6,499.
The Gionee Pioneer P5W comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 X 720 pixels) IPS display, with a pixel density of 294 ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. It has 16 GB of inbuilt memory, expandable via microSD card up to 128 GB and runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Amigo 3.1 UI on top.
The Pioneer P5W boasts a 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 2 megapixel sensor on the front. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery, that is rated to offer 10 hours of talk-time and up to 288 hours of standby time on 3G networks. Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB v2.0, USB OTG, and A-GPS.
The Gionee Pioneer P5W measures 143.3 x 72 x 8.9mm and weighs 157 grams. The device will be offered in Red, White, Black, Blue, and Yellow color variants.
Last week, Gionee launched the Pioneer P5L smartphone at Rs. 8,499.
