Gionee had been teasing about their upcoming smartphone, dubbed as ‘Gionee M2017’ that comes with a whopping 7000mAh battery. Today, the company has announced that it will introduce the smartphone at an event on 26th December at Haikou Mission Hills.
The Gionee M2017 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 × 1440 pixels) AMOLED display and to be powered by 1.95GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor, coupled with Adreno 510 GPU and 6GB RAM.
On the camera front, it is expected to pack 12MP + 13MP dual rear cameras with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera. It might come with massive 128GB of inbuilt storage and fingerprint sesnor on the front.
The dual-sim smartphone is likely run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.2 on top. The USP of the Gionee M2017 is its huge 7000mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. It measures at 155.2×77.6×10.65mm and weighs at 230g.
