As expected, Gionee launched its latest device Elife E8 in India at an event held today in New Delhi as coded in the invitations sent by the company for the launch event. The device was revealed in China in June and Gionee was silent on the questions regarding the release of it in India. The Gionee Elife E8 has been released at a price of Rs. 34,999 and it will be exclusively available on Snapdeal from 12th October.
Talking about the flagship, it sports a 6 inch AMOLED (2550×1440 pixels) display containing a pixel density of 491 ppi and getting its power from a 2GHz MediaTek Octa-core Helio X10 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The Elife E8 inherits the PowerVR 6200 GPU with an internal storage of 64GB which is expandable up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.
Gionee is recognized for the cameras in their devices and with their latest premium device they have outdone themselves. The rear camera of Elife E8 is of 24-megapixel and it can provide an image upto 120 MP in aspects of the resolution. Along with this, the rear camera includes a sapphire glass with a six-element lens, OIS, 3x zoom, 4K video recording and Phase detection autofocus at a speed of 0.08 seconds. The front camera is 8-megapixel shooter and the device also features a biological fingerprint reader on the back.
The phone runs on the Amigo 3.1 UI based on Android 5.1, there is no information regarding the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The Gionee Elife E8 is backed with a huge battery of 3520mAh with fast charging support.
The Gionee Elife E8 is packed with all the basic connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Dual-Sim, 4G LTE support and GPS.
