The social networking giant Facebook is testing a new feature called – ‘Messenger Day’ in Poland. This feature is said to be identical with Snapchat stories. Facebook acquired Instagram also added the Stories feature a couple of months back. However, Facebook is just testing this feature in Poland as of now, where Snapchat isn’t quite popular.
This new feature will show stories from you and your Facebook friends right on top of the Messenger app. Stories posted using Messenger Day will expire in 24 hours. Users will also be able to scribble on photos, use filters and stickers, similar to Snapchat and Instagram.
We know that people come to Messenger to share everyday moments with friends and family. In Poland we are running a small test of new ways for people to share those updates visually. We have nothing more to announce at this time.

Snapchat is already a popular app in countries like US and Canada with over 60 million people using it daily. Facebook will have to bring something unique in its Messenger Day feature to grab users attention. However, number of people using Messenger is about a billion, so this new feature may do well where Snapchat is not much popular.
Well, for that to know, we will have to wait if this feature will be rolled out worldwide or not. Stay tuned for more updates!
