Coolpad has launched two new budget smartphones in India, the ‘Coolpad Mega 3’ and the ‘Coolpad Note 3S’ at a price tag of Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively. The Coolpad Note 3S is the successor of the Coolpad Note 3 smartphone.
The Coolpad Mega 3 sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.25GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU. The processor is paired with 2GB RAM.
On the camera front, it packs 8MP rear and front cameras with LED flash. It comes with 16GB inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Coll UI 8.0 on top.
The USP of the device is that it comes with 3 Sim slots which support 4G and a separate slot for microSD card. It is backed by a 3050 mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the rear panel. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures at 154.4 x 76.8 x 8.35mm and weighs at 170.5g. It comes in Gold, Grey and White colors.
On the other hand, the Coolpad Note 3S sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display. The device is powered by Snapdragon 415 MSM8989 octa-core processor clocked at 1.36GHz, coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The processor is paired with 3GB RAM.
The Coolpad Note 3S packs a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. On the front, it has a 5MP camera for selfies. It comes with 32GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot.
The dual-sim smartphone is backed by a 2500 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device measures at 154.5 x 77 x 8.6mm and weighs at 167 grams. It will be available in Gold and White colors.
Both the smartphones will be exclusively available from Amazon.in starting from 7th December.
