As promised, Coolpad has launched a new smartphone in India, dubbed as Coolpad Mega 2.5D. The selfie focused smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon.in starting from August 24th via flash sale.
The Coolpad Mega 2.5D flaunts a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 73% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. It bears 16GB internal memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB with microSD. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based CoolUI 8.0 on top.
The USP of the Mega 2.5D smartphone is its 8-megapixel front-facing camera, 83.6-degrees wide-angle lens, and f/2.2 Aperture. It also has another 8-megapixel autofocus camera with LED Flash, SONY sensor, and f/2.2 aperture on the rear. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery and offers connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
The Coolpad Mega 2.5D measures 153 × 76.8 × 7.85mm and weighs 143 g. It will be offered in Gold, Silver, and Champagne color variants.
