As expected, Coolpad has launched its flagship smartphone, dubbed as Coolpad Max in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 24,999 and will be exclusively available from Amazon starting May 30th.
The Coolpad Max features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, it has an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor, paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB RAM. It bears 64GB (eMMC 5.1) internal storage, which is further expandable with microSD and the smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Cool UI 8.0 on top.
The Coolpad max sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, ISOCELL CMOS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lenses, and PDAF. It also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing OV5648 sensor for selfies. The smartphone is packed with a 2800mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It also includes a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Coolpad Max comes in Gold and Rose Gold color variants and measures 152 × 75.5 × 7.6mm while weighs 170 g.
