Coolpad, the Chinese handset manufacturer is going to launch its new device Dazen Note 3 on Thursday, October 8 in India. The phone will come with a fingerprint scanner, with a price tag of less than 10,000. Yes, you read it right! The Coolpad Dazen Note 3 was launched in China about a couple of months ago and is set to make an entry in the Indian market to further raise the competition.
The company, today, has sent invites to media houses regarding the launch of a new smartphone on 8th October, it has nowhere revealed the name of the new phone but the speculations are strong that it will be the Dazen Note 3.
The Coolpad Dazen Note 3 sports a 5.5 inch (1280×720) HD IPS display powered by an octa-core 1.3GHz 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali-T720 MP2GPU. It runs on the latest Android Lollipop 5.1 with Cool UI 6.0 on top. The sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and a front camera of 5MP. The main highlight of the device is the fingerprint sensor with 360-degree finger rotation support. The phone will be available in two variants one in 2GB RAM and other 3GB RAM version.
With these specifications packed under the hood it can be a strong competitor if launched under the 10k segment and may create a matter of stress on other companies like Meizu, which has recently launch its Meizu M2 Note with fingerprint sensor at 9,999 Rs.
