Feeling the extreme heat of the competition, state-owned BSNL has also introduced two new bundled packs for its prepaid customers that offer free voice calling across the country, along with substantial data benefits. However, BSNL has gone a step ahead from other operators by offering the packs at a starting price of Rs. 99 only.
The new Rs. 99 pack by BSNL offers free unlimited Local and STD voice calls across India, but only to other BSNL customers. This pack comes with 300MB of data with a validity of 28 days..
On the other hand, the new Rs. 339 pack by BSNL offers free unlimited Local and STD voice calls to any network in India. Along with this, the prepaid customers will get 1GB of data with a validity of 28 days on pan-India basis.
Currently, the BSNL Rs. 99 pack will be available in Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and West Bengal circles for BSNL to BSNL networks only. In other circles, the same offer will differ from Rs. 119 to 149. BSNL is already offering unlimited 3G service for Rs. 1,099 with 30 days validity.

Earlier in the month, incumbent operators like Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone have already launched similar plans offering free unlimited calls and limited Internet data priced at around Rs. 150 and Rs. 350 with 28 days validity. Aircel and RCom are also offering free voice calls and limited Internet data.
Ever since the entry of Reliance Jio in the Indian telecom market, all operators are propelled to introduce cheaper plans and packs in order to keep their customers intact.
