Asus has launched its first product at IFA 2016 which is Asus ZenWatch 3. The Android-based smartwatch price starts at 229 Euros (approx. Rs. 17,000) and will be available from October.
The Asus ZenWatch 3 features a 1.39 inch (400×400 pixels) AMOLED circular display with a pixel density of 287 ppi. It is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB eMMC storage. It runs on Android Wear OS and is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and iOS.
The ZenWatch 3 has a 340mAh battery with HyperCharge technology that claims to charge it up to 60% in just 15 minutes. It is IP67 certified dust and water-resistant and offers connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.1 LE and Wi-Fi. The smartwatch is crafted from jewelry-grade 316L stainless steel and has interchangeable straps, including Italian leather strap.
