Asus has launched its latest smartwatch, the ‘Asus Zenwatch 3’ in India. It was first unveiled at IFA in September this year. The Android Wear powered ZenWatch 3 is the company’s first smartwatch to come with a circular dial and is crafted from jewelry-grade 316L stainless steel.
The Asus ZenWatch 3 comes with interchangeable straps and has 3 buttons for accessing frequently used functions such as launching ZenFit activity tracking app and changing display modes.
The Asus ZenWatch 3 features a 1.39-inch (400×400 pixels) AMOLED circular display with a pixel density of 287 ppi. It is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB eMMC storage. It runs on Android Wear OS and is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 and iOS.
The ZenWatch 3 has a 340mAh battery with HyperCharge technology that claims to charge it up to 60% in just 15 minutes. It is IP67 certified dust and water-resistant and offers connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.1 LE and Wi-Fi. It measures at 45 x 45 x 9.95mm and has 6-axis (gyro and accelerometer), Ambient light sensor.

The ZenWatch 3 comes in three variants – Silver case with Beige Rubber strap, Gunmetal case with Dark Brown Leather strap and Gunmetal case with Grey Rubber strap. The first two variants are now available for pre-order exclusively from Flipkart and are priced at Rs. 17,599 and Rs. 18,999 respectively.
While, the Gunmetal case with Grey Rubber strap variant priced at Rs. 17,599 will be available in January 2017.
