Images of a new Asus smartphone dubbed as ZenFone Pegasus 4A have surfaced online along with the full specs sheet and pricing details of the smartphone. As per the reports, the Asus ZenFone Pegasus is a Mid-range smartphone from the company and appears to be holding a dual camera setup at the rear, which could very well be one of its highlights.
The press renders that have been posted by Slashleaks reveal the entire design of the smartphone. As mentioned earlier, the smartphone comes with a dual rear camera which doesn’t look very convincing. Also, the design is quite mainstream and there is nothing unconventional about it. The smartphone seems to be sporting a poly-carbonate body, along with a physical home button on the front which, most probably embeds a fingerprint sensor in it. The Asus ZenFone Pegasus 4A also features a 3.5 mm audio jack on the top and a USB Type-C port on the bottom. The volume rockers and the power button are on the right side of the device.
Coming down to the leaked specifications, the smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixel) display. It will be powered by a MediaTek MT6737V processor coupled with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage where there is no clue about its expandability. The smartphone looks to be be running on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
In the imaging department, the smartphone is listed to hold a pair of 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel rear cameras along with a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone will pack a massive 4,100 mAh battery for its powering. The device is listed to measure 144.26 x 71.26 x 9.1 mm and weighs around 160 grams.
Finally, talking about the pricing and availability of Asus ZenFone Pegasus 4A, it is expected to be priced around CNY 1800, which roughly translates to Rs. 16,900. The smartphone is said to be available in Europe and Asia. While there is no official confirmation yet, but previous leaks suggest that the smartphone might be unveiled by the end of July.
