Asus launched the Ultra slim ZenBook 3 and the Transformer 3 Pro laptops back in August this year, along with the Zenfone 3 series smartphones. The Asus ZenBook 3 has an ultra-sleek 11.9mm chassis crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy.
To recall, the Asus ZenBook 3 features a 12.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) LED Backlit display with 300nits of brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by the latest 7th Gen Intel Core i5/i7 processor, paired with 8GB/16GB of 2133MHz LPDDR3 RAM and up to 512GB M.2 SSD/512GB SATA3 M.2 SSD storage.
The ZenBook 3 comes with quad-speaker audio by Harman Kardon and supports USB Type-C port. It also has built-in fingerprint reader with Windows Hello support that offers one-touch access, and the laptop is made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy. It also features a full-size backlit keyboard with 19.8mm key pitch which is similar to most desktop keyboards and 0.8mm key travel to deliver comfortable typing experience.
The Asus ZenBook 3 has a battery life of 9 hours and comes with fast-charging technology that can charge up to 60% battery in just 49 minutes. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home OS. It measures just 11.9mm and weighs 910g only with battery. It comes in Royal Blue, Rose Gold, and Quartz Grey colour variants.
The Asus ZenBook 3 comes in three variants – the 7th Gen Intel Core i5 variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB SATA 3 M.2 SSD priced at Rs. 1,13,990, the 7th Gen Intel Core i7 variant with similar RAM and storage priced at Rs. 1,23,990 and the 7th Gen Intel Core i7 variant with 16GB RAM 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD storage priced at Rs. 1,47,990.
The ZenBook 3 will be available from 27th November across all Asus Exclusive Stories, offline and online retailers. However, the Asus Transformer 3 Pro will be available starting January 2017 across all channel partners and retail outlets, starting at Rs. 1,10,990. Stay tuned for more updates!
