As earlier rumored, Apple was expected to launch new 4-inch iPhone SE and 9.7 inch iPad Pro tablet on March 15, but now, the new reports suggest that the event has been postponed by a week, and now the company will hold its first public event of the year on March 21. Interestingly, the event date is just a day before Apple is set to meet the government in court and argue about whether or not Apple should help the FBI access the San Bernardino shooter’s iPhone.
The 4-inch iPhone will be dubbed as iPhone SE, rather than earlier rumored iPhone 5SE. Although, it is expected to sport same design as iPhone 5s and will offer specs like A9 or M9 SoC, with 12 megapixel rear iSight camera sensor, that has been used in iPhone 6s. It will come in Silver, Space Gray, and Rose Gold color variants.
And as for the 9.7 inch iPad Pro, rumors suggest that it will be a lot similar to 12.9 inch iPad Pro, and will offer features like Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard support. It may also sport a 12 megapixel rear camera. Apple may also introduce new Apple Watch models and its accessories.
Now we have to wait for Apple to send out invitations for its upcoming event and confirm the date on which Apple will rest the above rumors.
