So, while preparing this list we have considered everything, the specifications, hardware, software (UI), real-world performance, user experience, brand value, after sales service and more. We see a tablet as a complete package which should at the end deliver great satisfaction to the user and our rankings are based on the same principles.[/jumbotron] [section label=”1. Xiaomi Mi Pad”]

1. Xiaomi Mi Pad:

Xiaomi has greatly established itself in India. We have seen some great quality smartphones from Xiaomi at very affordable prices. After taking the smartphone world by storm, Xiaomi has launched its Mi Pad tablet and to no one’s surprise it is an amazing device. Starting with the design, it is a very well-built good-looking tablet (pretty much like the iPad mini, apart from its plastic back) which comes in many color options. It sports a 7.9 inches Quad HD (2048×1536 pixels) display with 4:3 aspect ratio which is just amazing. With the Quad HD display, watching movies and videos is a great experience. This is the best display for a tablet you can get at this price. The tab is powered by the 2.2 GHz NVIDIA Tegra K1 ARM Cortex-A15 Quad Core Processor which is very powerful. It is coupled with 2 GB RAM and delivers a great performance. The tab is excellent for gaming. It has got an 8 MP (ƒ/2.0 aperture) rear and 5 MP front cameras which have got decent picture quality but the device misses on LED flash. It runs on Xiaomi’s MIUI based on Android v4.4.4 Kitkat. The Mi Pad comes with 16 GB internal storage which is expandable upto 128 GB, so you can store as many movies as you want. It also supports USB OTG. The tab has got a massive 6700 mAh battery which has great battery life. A big downside of the Xiaomi Mi Pad is that it doesn’t have Sim card slots and thus it doesn’t support voice calling. Overall, it’s almost a perfect tablet for its price and if voice calling doesn’t matter to you, you should definitely go with it.

[section label=”5. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0″]

5. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0:

This is one of the controversial devices from Samsung. The reason for it is that the Tab 4.0 is supposed to be an enhanced version of its predecessor Tab 3.0 so, naturally it should come with better features and specs. But the Tab 4.0 doesn’t exactly comes with the expected enhancements. It features a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Marvell Processor, which is a less popular processor, it also features 1.5 GB of RAM. The overall performance is okay but if you want a high performing or completely lag free device, going with any of the above tablets in this list will be a good idea. Overall, it hasn’t got the most attractive features but the reason for including it in the top 5 is that, it comes with the best after sales service and its hardware still gives a decent user experience. So, if you have normal usage like web browsing, watching movies, social networking, etc. it can be a good choice.
