1. Moto X Style:
Motorola is having a great run in the Indian market from last year, all of its phone have been hit since its comeback in India and the same is bound to happen with the new Moto X Style. Its name includes ‘Style’ so let’s talk about the design first. The Moto X Style comes metallic sides and premium back covers which are available in different colors and textures like other Moto phones. The back of the phone is curved due to which it fits in perfectly in hands however it comes with a pretty large 5.7 inches screen but, Motorola has really reduced on the size of bezels around the screen so despite the bigger screen it feels as big as a 5.5 inches phone. To finish with design, the phone looks similar to other Moto phones like the Moto X (2nd Gen) and the Moto Nexus 6 but, if you spare that, it is indeed beautiful. The 5.7 inches screen has a 2k (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution with a great 520 ppi pixel density, the display quality is amazing. It is powered by the popular flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Hexa Core Processor clocked at 1.8 GHz and paired with 3 GB RAM and delivers great performance. It comes with a 21 MP rear camera which is by far the best rear camera seen on any Moto phone till now, it features f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detect Auto-Focus (PDAF), Dual Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) flash, 4X digital zoom, Video Stabilization and 4K video recording at 30fps. The 5 MP front camera comes with f/2.0 aperture, Wide-Angle lens and a front flash, it is also good in picture quality. The Moto X Style is now upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is a Dual Sim 4G enabled smartphone and comes with 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage options and is also expandable upto 128 GB. The Moto X Style is backed by a non-removable 3000 mAh battery but, the Quad HD display needs much more power and the phone disappoints a little in battery life, it can still run throughout the day with medium usage. But it comes with really fast Turbo Charging feature which the company says can charge the phone for use upto 8 hours in just 15 min of charging! The dual front speakers on the phone have rich & loud sound quality. Overall, the Moto X Style is a powerful well designed phone with good cameras and Stock Android UI which will be upgradable for years. A great package with great user experience, the Moto X Style is currently the best phone under 30000 Rs. in India. The powerful Moto Turbo can be a strong alternative. If you want an even bigger phone, you can also go with the 6 inches Google Motorola Nexus 6.

[section label=”2. Google Nexus 5X”]
2. LG Google Nexus 5X (32 GB):
Google has just refreshed its two years old and very popular Nexus 5 with the Nexus 5X. The new Nexus 5X brings in lots of new features and improvements over its predecessor. Starting with the design, it carries forwards the design language of the Nexus 5 and rather than looking muscular, it looks cute! The phone is built with plastic and has soft touch finish on the back which gives a good grip and feels good in hands. Summing up, the design and build quality is good but lot better options are available at the same price. It comes with a 5.2 inches Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display with 423 ppi pixel density, protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display of the phone is very good. The Nexus 5X is powered by a 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Hexa Core Processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and delivers excellent performance. It runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and being a Nexus device, it will be one of the few phones in the world to get the future Android updates for years. The Nexus 5X runs on the stock and purest form of Android which means there are no additional layers of UI & extra services downgrading performance and making your device slow. The Nexus 5X features a strong 12.3 MP rear camera with 1.55μm pixels, f/2.0 Aperture, 4K video recording, dual-LED flash & Laser Assisted Autofocus and clicks very good images. The 5 MP front cameras is decent too. The phone comes with a fingerprint scanner situated on the rear side just below the camera, it is fast and easy to use. It also comes with USB Type-C port for faster data transfer and quick charging. Sadly, it is a single sim device. The Nexus 5X comes with 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage options and again for a disappointment misses out on microSD slot. It is backed by a Non-removable 2700 mAh battery which gives average performance but the quick charging feature is upto the mark and charges the phone quickly. Overall, the Google Nexus 5X is a powerful future proof phone excelling in most departments and delivering great Android experience but, lack of expandable storage and dual sim might be deal breaker for many but, if you are okay with it, it is a great device to have in your pockets, really! If you are a fan of bigger screens, the Motorola Nexus 6 with 6 inches 2k display can be a good choice too. LG’s older flagship LG G3 can also be a good choice at this price.

[section label=”3. HTC One ME”]
3. HTC One ME Dual Sim:
The HTC One ME comes loaded with all the flagship specifications at this price. Starting with the design, the phone looks very good, it has a metallic frame, good mate finish back and chromium linings on the rear camera circle. It sports a 5.2 inches Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display with 565 ppi pixel density which is just amazing. The phone is powered by the 2.2 GHz Octa-core Mediatek Helio X10 Processor coupled with 3 GB RAM which offers excellent performance. When it comes to camera, it has a 20 MP rear camera and 4 MP (HTC Ultrapixel) front camera. Both the cameras work really well, they can capture great images in low light conditions also, the rear camera with f/2.2 aperture can record 4K videos while the selfie camera has many features and also produces good-looking selfies. The HTC One ME comes with a fast fingerprint scanner below the screen. The phone comes with 32 GB internal storage which is expandable upto whooping 2 TB with the help of a microSD card. The phone comes with Android v5.0.1 (Lollipop) with HTC’s sense UI 7.0 running on top of it, it looks beautiful and offers many customization options. It supports 4G and dual sim. It offers a Non-removable 2840 mAh battery which delivers decent battery backup. The phone also comes with HTC BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio which gives great music quality. Overall, the phone offers a great value for money and a complete package as well so, it is definitely a great smartphone to go for. The newly launched HTC One A9 can also be a good choice if you want a 5 inches phone.
[section label=”4. Apple iPhone 5s”]
4. Apple iPhone 5s (32 GB):
The Apple iPhones have got lots of price cuts over the period of last few months and now, for the first time we are getting a worthy/complete Apple iPhone under 30,000 Rs. in India. It’s not like that the iPhones weren’t available under 30,000 Rs. but they used to be the iPhone 5c (16 GB & 32 GB) or the iPhone 5s (16 GB) and in the current time you get much better designed and feature packed phones than the iPhone 5c at this price, while the iPhone 5s with its premium design and fingerprint scanner is a good package but its 16 GB version isn’t worth buying as it is not expandable. But now we are getting the iPhone 5s (32 GB) at just under 30,000 Rs. or around. The iPhone 5s sports a 4 inches retina display (640 x 1136 pixels) packed in a compact premium metal body. The 4 inches screen has a very good quality but it feels really small so, if you want a phone for watching videos or multitasking or gaming this won’t be a good pick and there are lots of better options at this price. The phone is powered by the 64-bit Dual-core 1.3 GHz Apple A7 Processor and M7 Motion Co-processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and gives good performance. The iPhone 5s can be updated to the latest iOS 9.2 which brings all the beauty and the latest features into the iPhone 5s, except few which requires new hardware (just like Force Touch or Apple Pay, although it’s currently not available in India). It has 8 MP rear camera which can click really good images but the 1.2 MP front camera falls behind the competition so, selfie lovers are advised to stay away from this phone. The iPhone 5s includes a Fingerprint scanner built into the home key and it can be used for unlocking the phone and for Touch ID. It is a single sim device with nano sim slot. The phone is powered by non-removable Li-Po 1560 mAh battery which gives average battery backup. Overall, the iPhone 5s is the weakest on the spec sheet but it still gives a great user experience. Still, it isn’t a good buying choice for all and only those who have low usage or have more of a regular usage like calling, messaging, social networking and browsing should go for it.
[section label=”5. Sony Xperia Z2″]
5. Sony Xperia Z2:
The Sony Xperia Z2 is a great combination of powerful specs, amazing design and great user experience. It sports a 5.2 inches screen with Shatter proof and scratch-resistant glass, Sony has used the Triluminos display and X-Reality Engine in the Xperia Z2, these are the display technologies which Sony uses in its Bravia LED TV’s. So the display of the phone is very good and it scores full marks in it. It runs on the Quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 Processor which is very powerful, moreover it has got 3 GB RAM so the performance of the phone is great! Whether its gaming or multimedia, it can handle everything smoothly. Xperia Z2 has got the 20.7 MP camera which has just awesome image quality, it has also got the 2.2 MP front camera which is a disappointment at today’s time. It has got the Android 5.0 Lollipop update which runs smoothly on the phone and enhances the user experience. The internal storage is 16 GB which can be expanded upto 128 GB. The phone has got a good battery life with the Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery. The Xperia Z2 is a premium Sony phone so it is Dust and Water proof! Overall, with its stunning design, amazing build quality and great features, the Sony Xperia Z2 can be a good buying choice. For selfie lovers, Sony has launched the new Xperia C5 Ultra with 13 MP front camera and 6 inches screen around Rs. 25,000. Sony has also launched the new Xperia M5 with 21.2 MP rear and 13 MP front cameras and Mediatek Helio X10 processor with 3 GB RAM, it is a very good phone but with a price tag of above 30,000 Rs. it is much overpriced.

You forgot to mention the non existent Motorola after sales service , which it has outsourced to a third party . No spares available anywhere in the open market along with the ridiculously high repair charges make this a huge wrong choice for any buyer spending Rs.30,000 on a phone.
I disagree with your rankings on this basis .
