2. Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML (4GB RAM):

Wow! 4 GB RAM!! In India, still a large population hasn’t got 4 GB RAM even on their computers but this budget device from Asus let’s you carry the enormous power of 4 GB RAM in your pockets. It runs on 2.3 GHz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 Quad Core Processor which is just amazing and with 4 GB of RAM, it’s needless to say the phone is performance powerhouse and can handle every bit of heavy gaming and multitasking pretty smoothly. It sports a 5.5 inches Full HD display which is very good and it is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone has a 13 MP rear & 5 MP front camera, the picture quality of both the cameras is very impressive. They are bright & colourful. It allows FHD video recording & produces good quality videos. It also has Dual-LED Flash and many other features. It runs on the Android v5.0 Lollipop with Asus’s ZenUI running on top of it. It supports Dual Sim & 4G (LTE). It comes with good 32 GB internal memory which is also expandable upto 64 GB, well that’s great! It also has a good 3000 mAh battery, with fast charging feature (60% in 39 minutes of charging). When it comes to design, the phone looks very good and more importantly it’s different from other phones in the market. Overall, the Zenfone 2 is a beast with its 4 GB RAM, it also offers a complete value for money package and can be a great choice without any doubts. At 17,999 Rs. the Asus Zenfone Selfie (3GB RAM) with 13 MP front camera and dual-LED front flash is also available, it also comes with laser auto-focus for the 13 MP rear camera. So, if camera, especially the front camera is your primary concern, the Zenfone Selfie is the best selfie focused smartphone under 20000 Rs. but if you are looking for better performance, Zenfone 2 with 4 GB RAM should be your choice.

3. OnePlus One:

The OnePlus One is a great compelling phone out there. They say, the harder its to get a thing, the more its value is increased. That held true for the OnePlus One as it was available to buy with an invite system for one whole year, the good news is that the invite system is now gone forever. It has got an all plastic body but its sturdy and good-looking. It has got good curves so despite the bigger 5.5 inches screen, it fits pretty well in the hands. OnePlus One is much popular for the OS on which it was built on – The Cyanogenmod OS. But its beautiful journey to glory with Cyanogen soon ended when it entered India as, Cyanogen decided to break its partnership with OnePlus and joined hands with Micromax. But OnePlus came back stronger and launched their home-made ROM – The Oxygen OS based on Android Lollipop. The Oxygen OS looks beautiful, it’s very close to the stock Android UI but has few customizations and many features taken from the CyanogenMod. Another good news is that the dispute between Micromax and OnePlus has ended in May and the Indian users can now also get updates for the Cyanogen OS. The performance of the phone is very smooth by virtue of the powerful Snapdragon 801 processor that it has got. It has excellent audio quality, it has got very good battery backup and the cameras on the phones are also very good, producing more natural colours. Overall, it’s fun to use the OnePlus One phone as it is the balance of everything. 4. Xiaomi Mi4 (64 GB):

“Power” & “Simplicity” are the two words which describe the Mi4 entirely. It runs on the very popular and very powerful Snapdragon 801 Processor which was used in almost all the last generation flagship phones. To make the performance even greater it has got 3 GB RAM. So, there is no need to describe the performance, you yourself can imagine how fast and fabulously it will perform. It sports a 5 inches Full HD display which is also pretty good and bright. The things we should discuss in details is the camera performance of the phone. It has got the Sony IMX 214 CMOS sensor which is quite advanced. The camera quality is pretty good, it is capable of recording 4K videos, the Autofocus of the phone is pretty fast (0.3 Seconds) and decent and works quite well. The camera works quite well at night also, it has High Dynamic Flash which takes two photos one with flash and one without flash and then mixes the colors in both the photos so, the image gets natural colors. The 8 MP front camera is equally good. The battery life of the phone is good. Its design is simple but the metallic bezels gives it a premium and stylish touch. It runs on the custom Android skin of Xiaomi which is the MIUI V6 and is quite beautiful. The Infrared blaster in the phone might be quite useful to control TV, AC, etc. Noteworthy is that, it is a single sim phone & doesn’t come with 4G so, make sure you are okay with it. Overall, it’s the beast of the phones with very good design and build quality and can be a good buying choice at this price.

5. Sony Xperia M4 Aqua Dual:

First things first! “Aqua” in the name means that the phone is waterproof and you can jump into the swimming pool with the phone in your hands (although, Sony doesn’t actually want you to do this!) or you can survive the monsoon without the fear of getting your phone damaged in rains, well that’s great! Talking about the design, Sony’s design had been always beautiful and pleasant and when it comes to the new Xperia M4 Aqua, it’s even more polished. The phone is built with metallic frame with matte finish back and it looks very good, it has a flat back and curved edges. It has a 5 inches HD display which is good. The Snapdragon 615 Octa Core Processor powers the phone, it is coupled with 2 GB RAM and the performance of the phone is good also. It has a 13 MP rear camera which comes with lots of features and clicks good images. The 5 MP front camera comes with super wide-angle lens and also has a good picture quality. It runs on the latest Android OS, v5.0 (Lollipop) with Sony’s UI on top of it, it’s very beautiful and easy to use. The phone supports dual sim and 4G, it comes with 16 GB internal memory which is expandable upto 128 GB. It has a good 2400 mAh battery. Overall, the Xperia M4 Aqua doesn’t have the best specs at this price, but it is a really good overall package with all the essence of Sony so, it can also be a great choice. At this price the older Xperia Z1 is also available which still offers decent propositions, it can be a good choice too.
