So, let’s take a look at the Best Phone Under 10000 Rs:
[jumbotron heading=”#Please Read:”]We believe that specifications of the phones just tell the half story, a great user experience matters more than great specifications. So, while preparing this list we have considered everything, the specifications, hardware, software (UI), real-world performance, user experience, brand value, after sales service and more. We see a phone as a complete package which should at the end deliver great satisfaction to the user and our rankings are based on the same principles. We consider hundreds of phones, from biggest to the smallest brands and come with our honest rankings every month.[/jumbotron] [section label=”1. Lenovo K3 Note”]
1. Lenovo K3 Note:
This is the game changer!!! The 10,000 Rs. segment offered phones with Octa core processor, 2 GB RAM, 5.5 inches screen with decent HD display, 2500 mAh + batteries and all and these specs were still considered good at this price point. But looks like Lenovo is determined to introduce great technologies at breakthrough prices. Earlier it launched the cheapest 4G smartphone and recently it launched the K3 Note which was the first phone to come with FHD display under 10,000 Rs, it certainly raised the bar high but, now it has got the rival Yureka Plus with FHD screen at the same price. Talking about the display, it is awesome with good viewing angles and offers great 401 ppi pixel density! When it comes to performance, the K3 Note runs on 64-bit Octa-core 1.7 GHz Mediatek MT6752 Processor coupled with 2 GB RAM which offers good performance and can handle most tasks smoothly, but it heats up a bit as well. If we talk about the design, the phone has good build quality but a simple design. The phone packs a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera and the picture quality of both the cameras is decent but not the best you will get at this price. The phone runs on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with Lenovo’s customized skin running on top of it. It is good on storage with 16 GB internal and 32 expandable memory options. The K3 Note supports dual-sim and 4G. And when it comes to another important aspect – the battery life, the K3 Note with its 2900 mAh battery offers a good battery life and it is also better than the similarly specced Yureka Plus. Overall, the phone is the game changer and offers a complete great package, making it the best mobile under 10000 Rs. Also watch my full review of the K3 Note below:

2. Micromax Yu Yureka Plus:
Earlier the Yu Yureka had completely revolutionized the 10,000 Rs segment and now the company has made it even better by launching the Yureka Plus which comes with a Full HD display. A year earlier you wouldn’t have got the phone with this specs and quality even at 25,000 Rs. So, let’s take a look at the phone. The Yureka Plus has got a very sturdy design. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor which is powerful but it heated badly in the Yureka, now with software updates and optimizations this issue is less. It has got 2 GB RAM, which makes the phone capable of handling heavy gaming and multi-tasking smoothly. It runs on the CyanogenMod 12 OS, which gives you tons of extra features, customizations & capabilities. It has got a large 5.5 inches screen which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Full HD screen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution offers the pixel density of 401 ppi. Another important thing is that it has got good picture quality with the 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras. It is good on storage also, it comes with 16 GB internal memory (12.5 GB user accessible) which can be expanded upto 32 GB. With the 2500 mAh Li-Ion battery the phone provides decent battery life. The phone now comes in two colors, moondust grey and alabaster white. Overall, with good specs, great camera, excellent build quality, lots of customization options and good gaming experience, it is undoubtedly a great phone to buy under 10,000 Rs and the Cyanogen 12 OS gives it a lead over the similarly specced Lenovo K3 Note, so if you want more control over your phone, the Yureka Plus will be a better choice. If you want a 5 inches phone the new Micromax Canvas Nitro 4G can also be a good choice.

3. Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL:
Asus is on the roll in India. It has already got good taste of success with its Zenfone 2 line-up and to ride high on it, it has launched many new Zenfone 2 variants, starting right from 10,000 Rs. And we have got the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL at this price range. The phone comes with lots of interesting features but the most important of them is present in its name “Laser”, the 13 MP rear camera of the phone comes with laser auto-focus with focus speed as fast as 0.3 seconds, it also improves the image quality. The rear camera also comes with Super HDR, f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens, zero shutter lag and low light mode. Overall, the rear camera has best picture quality. The phone also has a 85 degree wide-angle 5 MP front camera. It has a 5.5 inches of HD display with 267 ppi pixel density. The screen is protected with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Asus has paid quite a lot of attention on the design of the phone, the phone looks beautiful with its brushed metallic finish. The phone comes with a great 72% screen-to-body ratio and slim bezels. The volume buttons are placed at the back while the power key is placed on the top. If we talk about the performance, the phone is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Quad Core Processor coupled with 2 GB RAM, which delivers a decent performance, it’s not the best at this price but it is good, the phone runs smooth and lag-free. It runs on Asus’s own ZenUI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is a dual sim smartphone and supports 4G (LTE) on both the sim. It has got 16 GB internal storage which is expandable upto 32 GB. The 3000 mAh battery gives it a very good battery life, probably it is one of the phones with best battery life under 10000 Rs. Asus has also launched many good accessories for the phone, you can check them here. Overall, it is a great stylish phone with amazing camera, decent performance and good battery life which makes it a very good package and a great buying choice if you are not after Full HD screen or high performance. The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL is also available in 5 inches screen size, choose it if you want a more comfortable phone, the older Asus Zenfone 5 is also available at this price.

4. Samsung Galaxy Grand Max:
After losing its ground in the 10k and 15k price segments, Samsung came back with the Grand Max earlier this year and it proved to be a hit. It runs on the Snapdragon 410 Processor paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and the performance of the phone is good, smooth and lag-free most of the times. It has a 5.25 inches screen with 720 x 1280 pixels HD display which is pretty decent and gives good viewing experience. Highlight of the phone is its camera. The Grand Max scores max in the camera department, it has a 13MP rear camera which is very good, it offers Full HD video recording @ 30fps. It also has a good 5MP front camera which comes with 120° wide-angle so you can accommodate more people in your selfies. It sports 16 GB internal storage and has a large expandable memory of 64 GB, it also supports USB OTG. The phone runs on Android Kitkat with the Touchwiz skin of Samsung running on top. On the outside, it has the usual Samsung design but the textured back panel is something you will feel nice. It has a Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery which can power the phone for a day. It also supports Dual Sim and 4G LTE. Overall, the Grand Max offers a good combination of user experience, specifications and after sales service and can be a good choice at this price point. If you want a Samsung phone, increasing your budget a little and going with the newly launched Galaxy J5 @ 11,999 Rs will be even better.
[alert variation=”alert-error”]Comparison: Galaxy Grand Max Vs Moto G (2nd Gen): Detailed Comparison[/alert] [section label=”5. Moto G (2nd Gen)”]
5. Moto G (2nd Gen) (LTE):
Most brands and phones in this range are running behind specs but there is one company which is still offering great value – it is Motorola whose phones don’t boast great specs but on the contrary deliver a great user experience and satisfaction. The Moto G (2nd Gen) still offers some great values in the crowd of smartphones with great specs. Motorola has recently updated the Moto G (2nd Gen) with bigger 2390 mAh battery and 4G support. It sports a 5-inch HD display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad-Core processor and 1 GB RAM. It comes with water-resistant nano coating and supports Dual Sim. The phone runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat out of the box which is now upgradable to Android v5.0 Lollipop. Not to forget that it has the stock Android UI which delivers the pure Android experience. With the Moto G you can always get the future Android updates faster than the flagship phones. It has a 8 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera. Well the camera quality can’t match many phones in this list but it’s still decent. It has 16 GB internal & 32 GB of expandable storage. It has excellent build quality and smooth performance. Another advantage to buy the Moto G is that, it is a very popular phone globally and it is always there in the news so, it will always get the attention of the developers and the company. Overall, if you are a person who likes quality over quantity then this is the one, it may not have the strongest specs but, it has a good balance of everything and gives a great user experience. Also, if you like the Moto G (2nd Gen), it will be a good idea to increase your budget by 3,000 Rs. and go with the latest Moto G (3rd Gen) with 2 GB RAM, 13+5 megapixel cameras & it is also water-resistant.
