So, let’s take a look at the Best Phone Under 10000 Rs:
[jumbotron heading=”# Please Read:”]We believe that specifications of the phones just tell the half story, a great user experience matters more than great specifications. So, while preparing this list we have considered everything, the specifications, hardware, software (UI), real-world performance, user experience, brand value, after sales service and more. We see a phone as a complete package which should at the end deliver great satisfaction to the user and our rankings are based on the same principles. We consider hundreds of phones, from biggest to the smallest brands and come with our honest rankings every month.[/jumbotron] [section label=”1. Moto G (3rd Gen)”]1. Moto G (3rd Gen):
A great fact is that, Moto G has been the most selling product across any category on any e-commerce platform in the history of Indian e-commerce. Well, it has a glorious past but, now let’s get started with the Moto G (3rd Gen). The phone has a very simple design from the front and a very classy curvy back which has a vertical strip which houses the camera, LED flash and the Moto logo, this strip looks very beautiful and adds uniqueness in the design of the phone. The phone is very comfortable to hold in hand and offers good grip. It sports a 5 inches HD screen with 294 ppi pixel density which is decent. It is powered by Quad-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 410 Processor coupled with 2 GB RAM, it is definitely not for the heavy users but on a day-to-day basis it runs flawlessly and plays small to medium games efficiently. It runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with stock Android UI, which also makes the performance good. Great thing is that, it will always get the future Android updates and that too faster than many flagship phones! For the last two Moto G’s, camera was the weakest point, for the 3rd Gen it’s the strongest. It packs a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture lens, HDR & dual-LED flash. The 5 MP front camera comes with f/2.2 lens and a Field of view (FOV) of 72 degrees. Both the cameras are really good. An icing on the cake is, it is water-resistant for upto 30 minutes, this IPX7 certification is provided by no phone in the near price range. It has 16 GB internal & upto 32 GB expandable storage, Dual Sim, 4G, and a very good battery life with the 2470 mAh battery. Overall, it may not offer you the best specs but it is the most popular phone and gives a great user experience and satisfaction so, if you are not after heavy gaming, it is a great overall device to buy.

2. Lenovo K3 Note:
It was the game changer phone when it was launched! The 10,000 Rs. segment offered phones with Octa core processor, 2 GB RAM, 5.5 inches screen with decent HD display, 2500 mAh+ batteries and all and these specs were still considered good at this price point. But Lenovo was determined to introduce great technologies at breakthrough prices, it launched the K3 Note which was the first phone to come with FHD display under 10,000 Rs, it certainly raised the bar high but, now it has got many rivals with FHD screen at the same price. Talking about the display, it is awesome with good viewing angles and offers great 401 ppi pixel density! When it comes to performance, the K3 Note runs on 64-bit Octa-core 1.7 GHz Mediatek MT6752 Processor coupled with 2 GB RAM which offers good performance and can handle most tasks smoothly, but it heats up a bit as well. If we talk about the design, the phone has good build quality but a simple design. The phone packs a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera and the picture quality of both the cameras is decent but not the best you will get at this price. The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Lenovo’s customized skin running on top of it. It is good on storage with 16 GB internal and 32 expandable memory options. The K3 Note supports dual-sim and 4G. And when it comes to another important aspect – the battery life, the K3 Note with its 2900 mAh battery offers a good battery life, which is also better than the similarly specced Yureka Plus. Overall, it is a very good powerful phone which offers a complete package but, it is now facing a tough competition from newly launched phones which have even better specs but, the K3 Note still delivers a great user experience and can be another good choice at this price. Lenovo in Jan 16 has launched the new Lenovo A7000 Turbo which is identical to the Lenovo K3 Note in terms of design and specs and brings only two changes, 4G support on second sim and Vibe UI 2.0 but is also priced Rs. 1,000 more i.e. at Rs. 10,999 but, if you really want a worthy upgrade to this phone you should go with the Lenovo K4 Note priced at Rs. 11,999. [alert variation=”alert-error”]Comparison: Lenovo K3 Note Vs Yu Yureka Plus Vs Zenfone 2 Laser: Which one is right for you?[/alert] [section label=”3. LeEco Le 1s”]
3. LeEco (Letv) Le 1s:
Another popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer Letv (now re-branded as LeEco) has entered India and with the Le 1s, which comes heavily loaded with features their entry is rock solid. The first thing you will notice about the smartphone is its premium metallic design which is by far the best build quality we have seen in a 10-11k phone. It has a 5.5 inches Full HD screen with 403 ppi pixel density, the display quality is very good. The screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Le 1S runs on the powerful 2.2 GHz Mediatek Helio X10 Turbo 6795T Octa Core Processor coupled with 3 GB RAM and delivers consistently good performance. It has got the PowerVR G6200 GPU which performs very well with small to medium games but with heavy games it struggles a little, although it isn’t bad. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop based company’s own EUI which is good and comes with many added features and customizations. The phone has got a 13 MP rear camera with F2.0 aperture which can click very detailed pictures and is a good overall performer. On the front, it has a 5 MP shooter which also comes with F2.0 aperture and 85 degrees wide-angle lens, it produces good selfies. The Letv Le 1s brings 3 important features which are hardly seen in a 10,000 Rs. phone, the fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port for fast charging and the Infrared (IR) Blaster to let you control devices like music systems, A.C., etc. from your phone itself. It is a dual sim phone and supports 4G on both the sim. It has got 32 GB internal memory out of which around 25 GB is free for the user but, the phone doesn’t have the microSD slot. It has a Li-Po 3000 mAh battery. The company also promises to have already started service centres in many cities. Overall, the Letv Le 1s comes with a great design and is equally powerful and feature packed and makes the best value for money deal at this price but as it is a new company still setting up its feet in India and the after-purchase experience is yet to be known but, if you can take little risks the phone is really worth going.
[section label=”4. Coolpad Note 3″]
4. Coolpad Note 3:
Coolpad Note 3, the latest offering from Coolpad is one of the ‘must consider’ phone if you are buying one under 10,000 Rs. Starting with the design, it has got really slim bezels around the screen and a pretty simple design with plastic body but, it has got an Aluminium frame inside which gives it a good stability. The USP of the phone is the fingerprint sensor included on the back, which makes it one of the cheapest phones with fingerprint scanner in India. You can use the fingerprint scanner to quickly unlock the device, you can also protect the installed apps on the phone with the help of built-in app “FP lock” and can use the fingerprint scanner to unlock them. It comes with 5.5 inches HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display, the display quality is decent. The phone runs on 1.3 GHz 64-bit Mediatek MT6753 Octa-core Processor coupled with 3 GB RAM, which is the highest RAM you can get in a phone under 10000 Rs. The performance of the phone is excellent. The Coolpad Note 3 features a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 5 element lens and LED flash. It has got a 5 MP front facing camera. The picture quality of the phone’s camera is good. It runs on Android v5.1 Lollipop with company’s COOLUI 6.0 skin running on top. It is a dual sim smartphone supporting 4G on both the sims. It has got 16 GB internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB. The phone is backed by 3000 mAh non removable battery. Overall, the Coolpad Note 3 delivers good performance and has got other decent features as well but, it is the fingerprint sensor which makes it different from other phones. So a straight question, how much difference does the fingerprint sensor makes? Answer is – ‘a lot’, if you really consider the advantages of fingerprint sensor, it makes your smartphone experience richer and faster. Another good choice at this price!
[section label=”5. XOLO Black”]
5. XOLO Black (3 GB RAM):
The Xolo Black is Xolo’s most promising smartphone until now. If we talk about the design, the phone looks stunning, it has rounded corners, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 covers both the front and the back of the phone. On the back, the placement of two cameras and the LED Flash in between them looks amazing, the power button & volume rockers are placed very nicely on the side of the phone, the power button also has breathing light for notifications which looks very stylish. The phone feels very premium and scores full marks in design. The XOLO Black sports a 5.5 inches Full HD display with 403 ppi pixel density and the display is awesome. It runs on 1.5 GHz Octa-Core 64-bit 2nd Gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor coupled with 3 GB RAM (XOLO has upgraded the RAM from 2 GB to 3 GB recently), it has good performance and the phone can handle mid level games well although it lags a little in heavy games. The best part of the phone is the dual camera setup on the rear. The Xolo Black has two rear cameras of 13 MP & 2 MP and both work simultaneously, the 13 MP camera captures the subject while the 2 MP camera is used to capture the Depth and the final image is the combination of both. The rear camera comes with features like fast focus (0.15 sec), Ubifocus™ (you can change the focus after clicking images) & ChromaFlash™ (snaps two shots, one with flash and one without). These features promise a lot and the picture quality is good but could have been even better. The 5 MP front camera also comes with front LED Flash. It runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with beautiful HIVE UI on top of it. The phone has a 3200 mAh battery which gives good battery backup. Overall, the Xolo Black is a very good package, it has a great design and good features and can be another good buying choice. If you want a smaller phone, you can also go with the XOLO Black 1x with 5 inches screen and priced at Rs. 8,999 .
