Oppo R11 with Dual-rear camera setup, Snapdragon 660 SoC and Android 7.1 Nougat announced

After tons of leaks and rumours, the much awaited Oppo R11 smartphone has finally been announced by Oppo. The smartphone had been up with many leaks with not much left unknown regarding it. As rumoured earlier as well, the Oppo R11 highlights its dual rear camera setup along with a massive selfie camera. Although the smartphone has been announced but, it will reach the shelves in its home country on 10th June, as it was speculated earlier. The price of the smartphone hasn’t been revealed by the company yet.

Oppo R11 sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixel) AMOLED display and is powered by the the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The smartphone comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage with no clue about the expandability yet. The smartphone would be running on Android 7.1 Nougat Out-of-the-box.

As mentioned earlier, the smartphone holds a dual rear camera setup with 20 MP and 16 MP sensors, coupled with a dual LED flash. The rear camera also provides 2x optical zoom with the help of image signal processing provided by the Snapdragon 660 SoC. OppO R11 also bears a massive 20 MP front camera to ensure top quality selfies.

The smartphone packs a 2,900 mAh battery to power itself along with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the physical home button. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The Oppo R11 will be available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Black colour options. Although the price hasn’t be revealed but if rumours were to be considered, the company will price it at $485 (roughly Rs. 31,200).
